Long recognized as calcium’s bone-building ally and for preventing rickets, Vitamin D has recently come into the spotlight as a key nutrient for boosting immune health and fighting major diseases, including diabetes. It may also play a role in the prevention of MS. Emerging evidence suggests that recommended Vitamin D levels for all ages has been too low. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recently updated its guidelines by doubling the amount of Vitamin D for infants, children, and adolescents, from 200 to 400 IU daily. Jamieson Vitamin D is made using lanolin-derived, premium Vitamin D3 from the sun-drenched slopes of New Zealand. Vitamin D3 is more bioavailable than Vitamin D2 and it is the form that the body produces when skin is exposed to sunlight. Jamieson’s Vitamin D 400 IU for Kids – Chewable Strawberry is pharmaceutically tested to guarantee full potency and absolute clinical purity.
