Alpha-Lipoic Acid is a potent antioxidant used to help treat diabetic nerve damage (neuropathy) and help balance blood glucose levels. Used in pre-diabetes or early stages of diabetes, it may reduce the risk of diabetic neuropathy. At 600 mg per day it has been shown to help regenerate nerve fibres.
