Feature Summary

Imagine a nutritional supplement that tastes like Lemon Meringue pie! Some adults and children are missing out on the nutritional benefits of omega oils because they don't like fish. There's nothing fishy-tasting about this potent omega-3 fish oil supplement! Lemon Meringue Liquid Omega-3 Plus Vitamin A and 1000 IU Vitamin D from webber naturals® has a natural smooth lemony flavour to appeal to all members of the family. Plus, it delivers 700 mg of Omega-3 essential fatty acids and 100% of your daily requirements of Vitamins D and A in every delicious spoonful. No pills to swallow. No fishy aftertaste. A fish oil supplement that's easy (as pie) to give your whole family.

Fish oils are the richest sources of EPA and DHA, and cod liver oil also provides vitamins A and D. Sufficient intake of Omega-3s can significantly reduce the risk of heart disease, support memory and brain health, promote healthy cholesterol and triglyceride levels, and provide anti-inflammatory benefits. Vitamin A is important for healthy vision, skin, and bone development, and Vitamin D supports immunity and healthy bones and teeth.

Research in Brief

Omega-3 EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid) provides some ability to lower cholesterol and triglyceride levels. EPA also provides an anti-inflammatory effect in the lining of the coronary arteries of the heart. Omega-3 DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) is highly concentrated in the brain and has been recognized as important for brain, visual, and nervous system health and development (Marik&Varon, 2009).

Recently, recommended daily dosages of vitamin D have been increased to 1000 IU! Most of the vitamin D we get is through exposure to sunlight. To minimize health risks associated with UVB radiation exposure, while maximizing vitamin D benefits, supplementation combined with small amounts of sun exposure is the recommended way to assure optimum levels of vitamin D (Stechschulte et al., 2009).
